FHS Art Medallion

Each year FHS Art Teachers meet to select a recipient for the FHS Senior Art Medallion. The chosen artist must be a graduating senior who plans to continue their studies in art after graduation. Recipients often display a deep understanding and interest in various artistic mediums and techniques, exploring multiple art classes at FHS or outside of school. Their portfolios demonstrate risk-taking and personal reflection, the ability to handle complex concepts, and a commitment to developing their craft without risk of failure. The recipients display a strong work ethic, an unwavering passion for art, and a commitment to community service through National Art Honor Society or art-based volunteer work.
